FixHub is a creative, collaborative community makespace – we’re here to help people repair their stuff, get recycling and learn how to make things.
Everyone is welcome at FixHub, all ages and abilities – everyone can be creative and enjoy making!
Drop by to explore the space, book a place at one of our clubs, or just come in for a chat and a cup of tea, we hope to inspire you to try something different and learn some new skills.
FixHub has a pop-up gallery, library and project spaces. The pop-up gallery presents small curated shows. The library has a range of books and materials about design and material culture for visitors to read. The project spaces are where we hold our clubs and workshops; we have lots of tech and tools to play with; this is also where we explore innovative design ideas. We also have a mini-shop coming soon!
We run regular monthly clubs, covering new ways of making and thinking about design.
We host events and exhibitions, and are involved in a number of local, national (and international!) design projects and programmes.
FixHub is a non-profit project – any donations we receive go towards our tech, tools and facilities, as we try to make our clubs as low-cost and accessible as possible.
For more details on where we’ve been, what we do and what’s next, read our posts.
